Well lets see . It has indeed been a while . and in lieu of all the things that have been going on in the past year . I'm just gonna start all over and go from there . first a brief update on the past year.

Currently I'm still living in Fox Run . but am in the process of building a house . it's one I designed myself and is comming along nicely . i hope to be moved in by the end of the year .

I no longer live with Jason . right now I have his brother Perry as a Roommate . things are good there .

I started seeing Rebecca back in October last year and things are going good there . she's real good to me . actually she better to me than i deserve.

Jason is currently in Iraq . serving our country . I stay in contact with him via e-mail and he seems to be doing ok . he's been over there sience March of 2003 and is still not sure when he might get to come home . it could be as late as April of 2004 . I hop not though . As much as a pain in the ass he was when he lived here . I kinda miss the guy . I just want him to get home soon . it's not the same with him gone.

I still play in the SCA . Gulf Wars has come and gone along with a host of other events .

I'm hoping to get some pictures of my house up on the site sometime, but don't hold your breath on that one . things are still kind of crazy in the world of Stu . I'm hoping to be able to actually post more often but we'll see how it all works out .

There is so much to tell everyone out there and I can't remember it all so I'll just be filling in blanks of the past year as I try to start this thing back up again . .

Wow . it's been so long that I almost forgot how to do all this stuff .

Well things have been kind of crazy in the world of Stu as of late . let me splain . . . there is too much let me sum up

Things going on at work
1. we finaly finished the new electrical project that i've been working on for two years
2. I got a new office (actually everyone got a new office) so now I work in a Six wide trailer . yup this is definately Arkansas
3. I currently working two jobs . the other one is for an archtectual firm . part time . just doing a little drafting for them

Things going on at home
1. I have a new roommate . no I didnt' kick Jason out . but I did let his brother Perry move in . so now there is three of us
2. a few more batches of beer have come and gone . I tried an experiment with lemonaide and it worked out great . . . in fact the 5 gal I made lasted about a week
3. I bought me a new VCR/DVD combo thing and a new TV . it's a 27" flat screen . and damn is it sweet . the first thing I watched on it was Lord of the Rings . witch I also bought.
4. Nick moved back into the appartment complex . he's only like two doors down now...

Things going on in the SCA
1. Aphar Faire has come and gone . it was a damn successiful event . this is the first Aphar Faire in the past two years that we have made a Profit on ..
2. we've picked up about 6 new people sience I last wrote in .
3. I've decided to lay off fighting for a little while in favor of learning archery.

I can't think of anything else that's really happend in the past 4-5-6 weeks . however long it's been . . I'm going up to my Folks house this weekend . and I'm gonna try to make it up to Spring River for a little canoeing . maybie if I get a chance I'll swing by and see Fossie . . who knows .

Well I just thought I'd pop in here and post before I go to bed and let all of you know that i'm still alive and that hopefully I'll be able to post more from home as I get time . . till then

Welcome back loyal readers . . Well this has been an exciting three weeks . I guess I'll just go back and start at the begining.

June 17th 2002 I started my DCP Training class . For those of you who don't know what this is it's an Order Coding Software we use at work . I'm not going to bore you with details but basicly it means I have more work and no more pay (yea) . needless to say after two weeks in this class I passed the test with a 99% . I missed one question and it was a stupid one . O well . I passed and I don't have to take the class over so everything is good . . .

June 28th 2002 MY BIRTHDAY . I didn't do a damn thing on my Birthday except go to work .

June 29th 2002Me, Jason, Perry, Nick, Wade, Bobby, and his Wife all went out to Night Life to celebrate my birthday . Basicly they all took me out to get drunk . and I happily obliged . We were there for about 5 hours or so . haveing fun and just being silly . Perry Stayed sober to Drive so I could get Drunk . Thanks Man .

June 30 2002Recoverd from mild Hangover. . . that's about it

Stuff I got for my Birthday:
I pampared my Truck for my Birthday
Mom had my windows Tinted for me, Michelle, my sister, had my truck Detailed, Melissa, another sister, got me some weather guards for my windows, and I bought myself a digital camara . . . it's sweet . took lots of pictures of my vacation . now all I have to do it get an actual site so that I can post my pictures . . .

Speaking of my Vacation . . . First off for those of you who tried to call me on my Cell phone and didn't get a call back . I was in Georgia . my phone was turned off . Sorry...

Now for those of you who didn't know. I went to Savanna, Georgia to see some friends I haven't seen in a while . and let me tell you I had a fucking blast . we'll just start at the begining and work our way throught last week

Monday was pretty much just getting there . i had a flight that left from Memphis at about 7:00pm so I was just making last minute preperations and heading to Memphis to catch my flight . Well it's a good thing I decided to get there early . My flight was delayed enough that I was gonna miss my connecting flight so they had to reroute me on a different airline . witch left in 30 min . so after getting through the security I finally get on the plane and land in Atlanta, GA . Now for those of you who have not been to the Atlanta International Airport . let me s'plain something . IT'S FREAKING HUGE . I came in at gate A30 and checked the schedule and saw my flight to Savannah was leaving at Gate B07 . in about 20 min . so I walked all the way down there . it had to have been about a mile . well I get down there with about 15 min to spare and there is noone there so I look at the little board again and see that my flight has been moved to gate A07 . pretty much back where I came from . so I run the mile back so as not to miss my flight . and get there just as they were boarding . I landed in Savannah at about 11:05 EST . and go to find Jim who was picking me up at the airport . well we (me and his wife Ronda) hadn't told Jim that I had shaved my head . so he was looking for a short, fat man with hair . needless to say I walked right up too him before he noticed it was me . we talked about random shit the whole way to his house . and I must say Savannah has some nice contryside . we get back and me and Jim popped the top on a few of my beers, and I crashed about an hour later . I was tired .

TuesdayWe went to Fort Pulaski, it a Fort from the Civil War it was realy neat . I took lots of pictures . we spent most of the morning out there that afternoon we went back to Jim and Ronda's house for some damn good homemade Lasanga . and just hung out.

WednesdayWe spent all day at the Beach . walking on the shore, picking up sea shells, and looking at the Butter <<--nice looking females..They were haveing a Fireworks show at the beach that night so we just lay out at the beach and watched the fireworks shoot right over our head . . I got a lot of good pictures of it . . the beach was real relasing and a lot of damn fun . it was one of the greatest things about Savannah

Hey Guys I'm gonna be in Training at work for the next few weeks so updates will be scarce . . . after training I'm gonna be on vacation for a week so I should be back and updateing regularly on or about July the 8th . so until then go and enjoy other peoples blogs . such as Fossie's or Jo's or you can go read some really good comics, such as Blue Canary or 8-Bit Theater . .

I need to learn to use MS Front Page . so I can design an actual web-site . . . the blog is cool but there is so much more stuff I wanna put on this page that I can't . . . I NEED A WEB-PAGE FOSSIE!!!! . . . Or if anyone knows of a better webdesigning program that's free (cause I allready have Front Page) that's easy to use (Keep in mind I suck at HTML if it wasn't for Fossie this page would never have even been) But I want a web page . . . WHEW!!! I'M DONE!!! YEA . I finally got done with the "Rush, Rush" package on my desk . and not to blow my own horn but I just did 487 drawings in a week . now things can slow down for a bit . at least till the next one hits my desk . witch I don't see happening at least for a few days . . . Man! . it feels good to get that damn thing off my desk . and do you know.... I hate it when I get interupted . Cause I lose all train of thought, and I have no idea where I was going with this . . O well

Due to much harrasment (both of em) I guess I need to update my blog . So here it is, your insite to the wonderful world of Stu . . . or something like that

the Jason thing: Well me a Jason sat down and talked about some shit and I think we've finally got everything worked out . witch means I won't be kicking him out this month .

There hasn't been a whole lot going on lately (witch is why I haven't updated) but lets just focus on the past three day weekend .
Friday: Sucked . didn't do a damn thing . Jason when to his girlfriends and I sat at the house all night . that's about it...
Saturday:Sucked . didn't do a damn thing . Jason was still at his girlfriends so I just sat at the house all day . that's about it...
Sunday:Sucked . but not as bad . Jason still at girlfriends so till about 8:00 I sat around at the house . then I went to my sister's, and sat aournd at her house till about midnight . Jason came home and called me to find out where I was . like i'm supposed to be there waiting on him . went home . stayed up till 3 in the morning doing nothing . then went to bed . that's about it...
Monday: Pretty good day went to the park with my Sisters and Mom and Jason, played some B, played on the playground with my neice . Played somemore B . ate lunch . even more B . went home about 7:30 . went rollerbladed toward park . turned around before I got there . too tired . too much B . took shower . went to bed
Today: sore from all the B . Tired from lack of sleep . board from lack of work . having to train new intern (fun fun) . sitting around updateing my blog

Hey long time no blog . well I havent' been doing so well on my non smoking . Me and Jason made the rule to not smoke in the house anymore . or I least I thought we both agreed . I went away this weekend (more on that later) only to come back to ashtrays that are full of cigerette butts . . you figure if you're gonna smoke in the house you'd at least get rid of the evidence . . . I think I might have made a mistake letting him move in . . as for me not smoking . well I don't smoke inside the house anymore . witch helps me cutdown alot sience I can't smoke at the computer anymore. but I still haven't quit . . at least not yet anyway . . .

. . there just aint enough coffie in the world to keep me awake today. I was tossing and turning all night last night because of heartburn . . I shouldn't have at so damn much at Ryans . but I was hungry and it was good . . but damn did I pay the price . .

Ok . now for the report on Jet's wedding . . First off do you have any idea what happens when the director of a theater depart get's married . the whole thing gets set up like a play . they even got married in the theater. complete with sound cues and tape to mark your spot on stage . Jet looked butiful in her dress . she has lost soo much weight it's crazy . she looks good though . everything looked really nice . except for the little "precious moments alien children" there was something about those eyes that just made them look evil . . gave me the creeps . . the reception went off ok . a few small snafu's but it all worked out . . . (in other words I didn't have to kill anyone) . . well that's pretty much all I have on the wedding . for more comprehensive coverage of the wedding go to Fossie's site . she'll have a better review than I will .

After the wedding the McRegan clan (sans Jet and Byron) headed back to Mike and Tracy's to basicly hang out, and have some fun . we had some good times this weekend and it was good to spend so much time with Mike, Tracy, Misty, and Jeff . . . I don't get to see them often enough . . .

So to sum up the weekend:
The wedding was nice
I'm not married to my laptop
Tenatious D kicks ass
I look like a lap dog while sleeping on the floor
and scott need's to keep his pants on . (poor misty . she came face to face with the beast . . it'll take years of therapy for her to overcome the trama)

another good weekend . wow that's two in a row . . . Friday was pretty much standard, Hanging out with the guys over at Dave's. Sat. I wnet over to Karens house for the A&S/Fighter Practice had a good fighter practice even if it was just me and steph . . after fighting me and nick broke out the gutairs and started singing, that was a lot of fun . finally got to meet one of the new members of the shire . Rebecca . Damn she's hot . I think she's married though . . figures . . . . let's see sat night I just sat around the house . it was pretty boring actually . . Sunday . spent the whole damn day sunday in my room on the comuter just relaxing . . . that is till about 7:00 . then I got online to Race (I Race online every Sunday and Wedsday)(it's the NASCAR game I talked about eirler, only in this one we race for money) well we were running at Talladega . . and after 255 miles, 96 Laps . . I was on top . . . that's right I won took the lead with three laps left to go and held off the other cars to take the win . . it was damn close though 2nd place was .17 sec behind me it was fun though . took about 2 hours to run the race . . and I won money . . I tell ya boys . . . . it just don't get no better than this.

I went to bed last night at about 8:30pm got up at 6:30am this morning and still was so damn tired I could barely get out of bed . . right now it's everything I can do to stay awake at work right now . . . and to top it all off I think i'm getting sick . . or it could just be that my body is just run down . right now I just feel terrible . . . i'm so tired I can barely lift my fingers to type on the keyboard . . . What a weekend . . . Kemp came over Friday and we sat around and bull-shitted for a while . We only played one game of Nascar 2002 (he beat me . but that's only cause I ended up in a 5 car accident and was put out of the race) . . we went over to Dave and Steph's Friday for the game and had a real good game session that night . . . got home at about 1:30am from dave’s and stayed up and worked on my Race Car till about 4:00am (you can edit what your car looks like in the game . adding graphics and sponsors and other stuff . witch I hope to get my wonderful cousin who happens to be a graphic designer type person to make me some graphics’ for my car . . . . ((love ya foss))

Saturday we went out to Fighter Practice and had a damn blast . Practice went real well . Steph and Bobby are getting good . . . after practice and a shower several of us went down to the Flying Saucer to have a "few" drinks . it was Magnus's last night before his woman moves in with him so alot of the guys (me, Mike, Magnus, Brander, Scott, Dave, Bobby, Liem, and Kahn) decided to have a boys night out . . . now I had never been to the flying saucer before . . and I must say I will be going back . first off it's not a club . it's a pub . There’s no dance floor, no live band, not even really any music (there was music playing overhead, but you could barely hear it) now this might make it sound like a boring place . but you don't go there to dance . you go there to drink and with 190 different beers on tap . you have ample opportunity to do just that . . not to mention the waitresses in the Catholic school girl outfits . I have belts wider than some of these girls skirts, but you wont hear me complain . . . well we were there all night and did a few crazy things (some of witch I will not bring up on this site) needless to say we all had a fucking blast . . . BTW . Mike was our DD so don't worry Foss . we didn't drive drunk . we're smarter than that.

Sunday I helped mike pack up and leave . he had to be home by 3 so he left kind of early . after that I just sat around the house . and messed around with my computer . . . and that was my weekend . probly one of the best I've had in a long time . . . Except for the fact that I didn't get any sleep It was perfect . . . and I still ain't getting any sleep . . I'm so tired now it's not even funny . . . but I talked to Liem about it . he's one of those sleep doctors . and he told me to come by his office in a couple of weeks and he'll hook me up to the machines and let me know why I'm having such a hard time sleeping . . . well I guess that's about all I have for now . . until the next time. . . . . .

Well last night was a damn good night . Nick came over and we worked on some songs . a while back I told you we had some delusional dreams of being celtic artist . and we are even in the process of putting out our first CD . well we played and sang for about seven hours last night and got a demo of the CD done (nothing pretty . and only four songs) but all in all it sounded really good . . . we're hoping to get everything done and have a CD out in a few months . .(we were shooting for the end of April, but I don't think we gonna make it) we recorded and listened too about 10 songs last night . only four survived the cutting room for the Demo . we are our own worst critics . but the way I see it . if we get everything the way we like it . and we think it's good . then it should be freakin phenomenal. . because of that . I didn't get to bed till about 2:00 am . . . i am tired right now . but the day is going by quick so hopefully it will be over soon. be that as it may . it was still a damn good night.

Kemp is commin down this weekend . he has a job fair to go to then he's gonna come by the house and spend the weekend with me . I told him to bring his machine down . We both bought a new game and I'm looking forward to kicking his ass at NASCAR 2002 . . . . well I guess that's just about it for right now . time to get back to work

Well . What a weekend .my boy jeremy came down and I got to met his lovely wife Terry . she's pretty cool . they seem to click well together . . . he got here friday and we just kind of sat around and talked about the "good old days" . . Saturday we sat around over at scott and mer's house and did pretty much the same thing . . . they left about 2:00 Sat after noon to head down to new Orleans for their honeymoon. . . other than that not much went on this weekend . . . today was pretty much a standard monday . . . i'm just sitting here updateing my blog talking on my !Y messenger . . .

I'm also having problems with my network at home . . I can't seem to get the computers talking to each other . . I'm sure it's nothing major, but it's bugging the piss outta me right now . . .

well I didn't get near as many people with my April Fool's joke as I wanted, but hey . such is life . . . This post is mainly to tell you about some new stuff added to the site . . . first off I have found some new online comics that I highly recomend . . "Sinfest" and "Real Life" WARNING Sinfest is for Mature audiences only. If you are very religious, or are offended by religious jokes I advise you not to read Sinfest.

Well I got some god news and some bad news . . the good news it that I got a new job with a big increase in Salary, and I do mean Big . . . the Bad news it's in Seattle, Washington . . not sure how I'm gonna like Washington . . I don't know anyone up there . but It's a good career move so I think i'm gonna do it . . . the hardest thing is gonna be leaving behind all my friends and family . . . I haven't even told anyone except my parents . . . I just got notified today . . . I think i'll be good for me to get away for awhile . . I'm not planning on living there for more than a few years . . I was born in Arkansas and i'll probley die in Arkansas . . . but for right now . looks like I'm headed north . . . let's see there was something else . . . . Oh yea . . I leave in a little more than a month . I don't start my new job till the 3rd of June but I got to find me an apartment and get all my finances squared away before I start . . One of the cool things about this new job is that they are giving me money to move on. so I don't have to worry about that . . that's good . . my last day at this job is gonna be the end of this month . . i'm gonna work until then . then i'm gonna take the whole month of May to move all of my stuff and get situated . . . well I guess that's all of the big news I have for right now . . it seems like i'm forggetting something . . . . oh yea now i remembre . . . . Ok . things have finaly calmed down enough that I can post now . . first off let me tell you what I have been doing lately . . .

I come back from my vacation monday and find out that we had a bus fire . . this is very bad . . . so we have been gathering records and going over drawings to find out what happend . we think we know now and if it's what we think it is . than it's not our fault . . . . needless to say it has been a busy week . .

ok last week . . well I went out and bought me a Laptop . . I saw it, Liked it, so I said screw it, and bought it . . . it's a HP 1Ghz Duron, 256MB, 20 Gb HD, DVD, 14.1" TFT, I like it a lot . . I been playing with it all week (and I haven't put my eye out yet) . .

Now it's time for my GULF WARS XI post (insert grandiose music here)

I had Rixa, Jason, and Eva riding down the Gulf Wars with me, Rixa and Eva got to the house at about 9:00pm Saturday night and Me and Rixa just sat around talking till about 1:00 in the morning. we got up and started packing up everything sunday to head down to the site. after a detour at K'aus and Sue's house we we prepared for the six and a half hour drive and got on the road at about 11:00 Sunday night (after I had caught about 4 hours sleep) and we arived on site at about 8:00 Monday morning . . . . now I know what you're thinking . . how come a six and a half hour drive took nine hours . . . MMMmmm interesting question . . the answer. I'm stupid. . . I drove the whole way down . and I have made this drive a half dozen times before . . and I remember thinking "I'll take I20 over to Jackson then I55 South to Hattiesburg" the only problem with that is that I55 south doesn't go to hattiesburg . . In fact it doesn't even go near Hattiesburg and I didn't realize this until after about 75 miles . . when I noticed that I was crossing the State Line . . so after much curssing and a long review of the map . . I finally figured out where the hell I was and how to get wher I was going . . . I had only went about 75 miles . . in the wrong direction . . so two and a half hours later we pulled into site (yea)

Now only in the SCA (well the SCA and Grateful Dead fans) Will you find someone who's willing to drive 5, 10, 20 and in some cases fly from another contry to wiat in a line that is quite literally three quarters of a mile long . . . we actually got lucky and only had to wait about two hours to get through the gate . . . so at about 10:00 we were offically at GULF WARS XI (yea)

not much happed Monday and Tuesday . . we unpacked, we helped other people unpack, I changed a flat tire on Illissa's trailer, we killed some fire ants, and then we slept... that's about it

now Wednesday stll not a lot happend, but enough to warrant is own line . We worked furiously on armor and weapons to get stuff ready to fight tomorrow, I walked around for about three hours selling raffle tickets for Shadow Legion. after that I came back to camp sang a few songs around the campfire and then went to work at Merchants Row for the Midnight Maddness Sale form 10:00 to Midnight. after all that was done I went back to camp sang even more songs . drank a little and then headed off to bed at about 3:00am so I'd be rested for war tomorrow...

Thursday::
I woke up with just enough time to franticly finish Rixa's helm and our spears so we could make it to the Known World Women's Fighter Practice (KWWFP) . . it's there to promote Female Fighters in the Socity for more infomation go here. so we went down to the fort where it was being held to help out any way we can . . . . Women in armor . . there ain't nothing wrong with that...

Well after the KWWFP, witch went off without a hitch, we went back to camp to get ready for the Ravine Battle . . this is supposed to be an hour and a half long resurrection battle. . it ended up being a messy 3 hour long "last man standing" cluster fuck . . . damn that was a long battle, FUN, but very long . . . I managed to piss off some archers who were having a hard time hitting me, and the Legion folded the left flank over . . it was a good day . . .

After the Rivine battle it was time for a backrub, and cold beer, and a shower, but not in that order . . the shower had to be first . cause after fighting in my armor for the past three hours . I stank . . . after getting clean I was reminded by my good Squire brother Gunder that me and him, along with Scott and Charlie were supposed to clean up after the Royal Dinner (I had forgotten he had roped us into that, Luv ya Gunder . . Mean it) so we went up the the Feast Hall and waited till the Royal Dinner was done so we could clean . . . and we waited, and we waited, and waited, and waited, and waited.... I went on a little longer than expected . . to make a long story short (and to avoid using Many MANY curse words we got done at about 1:00 the following morning . . . I headed back to camp to go pretty much straight to bed . w/o my backrub but I did get one beer . . . and to top it all off . . I broke my Mug . . the 32 oz Great Mug of Stu . did not survive the War . . may it rest in peace...

Friday::
now Friday was a damn busy day . . "let me splain . no, there is too much, let me sum up" we had the Feild battles that morning . and boy did we kick ass . I had decide to fight with the Barony this day . . and we had a blast Charging up and down the field . killin folks left and right . . . ther were two big highlights this day . . One was when the Legion charged up the hill and killed two Ballista crews, six archers, and the Trimriain Arrow supply . . I was so proud . . the second was when the Barony charged down the hill and they didn't stop their charge till they ran out of people to kill (I would have been there with them, but I got killed about halfway down the field) . . it was a good day for fighting . .

After all the fighting was done I went back to camp to help with Shadow Legions "Men Without Shirts" Party (it's basicly a bunch of men without shirts, cooking, and serving, the ladies of the Household. it was damn fun . . . and sence it was Friday, after all the Ladies were properly fed . . it was time to do a "little" Drinkin myself. I got a little Drunk, and sang serveral songs around the Campfire. Then Big John and Charlie came into the Legion camp to fetch me. apparently I had been summoned down to the Barony's encampment . . we got down there and I found out I was given the Great Honor of being a part of the Botherhood Of the Broom (BOB). (yea) . . then I made the Baron and Baroness cry . but it was a happy cry . . there was also some talking about me and a bear, but i'm denying everything . . . after that the Baron, Big John, Brander, and a few otehr folks walked me back to camp . . . we all made quite an inpressive display . . I made it back to camp just fine did a few more songs (can ya tell I like ta sing) then it was off to bed. . .

Saturday::
Saturday was a big blur to me . . (no it's not because of the drinking) mainly cause I realized that the War was almost over and I wasn't ready for it to end yet . . . Bet I doned my armor and headed to the field . . the fighting was feirce and a lot of fun . . That night I didn't drink quite so heavily . I spent most of the night down at the Baronial encampment . saying goodbye to Mike, and Tracy, Scott, Mer, and Misty. they were bugging out a little early so they could get back at a decient time . . . we sat there telling stories, singing songs, laughing and haveing a good time
and after it was all done . they left and I headed back to my own camp fo one lat revel before the end of the War

Sunday::
Sunday was just packing up . saying goodbye to everyone and getting on the road to make the drive home . . . I would like to say thanks to the following for making this war great
Rixa, Mike and Tracy, Scott and Mer, The Teaglach Clan (you guys rock), The Baron and Baroness we'll miss you guys, Mason, Siggi I still owe you a beer, All my Monkeys, The Legion, and everyone else who I may have left out . . . . . .

Well Candle Light Camp has came and gone . it was a fun event even though it was FREAKIN' COLD . . and I normally don't get cold . I heard someone say that the temp got down to about 10Degrees, AND IT WAS WINDY . other than that it was a real good event . . . now I'm waiting for my Vacation next week ant then it's off to Gulf Wars it's the big one . I'm gonna have me some fun at this one Fightin all day . party all night . . . .

I been looking at laptops today . i'm thinking about buying one . In fact I'm going to go look at some here in the next hour . and if one of them is good enough I just might buy it . . . ya never know with me . . .

Recently one of my friends, a computer wizard, paid me a visit. As we were talking I mentioned that I had recently installed Windows XP on my PC. I told him how happy I was with this operating system and showed him the Windows XP CD. To my surprise he threw it into my microwave oven and turned it on. Instantly I got very upset, because the CD had become precious to me, but he said:

'Do not worry, it is unharmed.'

After a few minutes he took the CD out, gave it to me and said:

'Take a close look at it.'

To my surprise the CD was quite cold to hold and it seemed to be heavier than before. At first I could not see anything, but on the inner edge of the central hole I saw an inscription, an inscription finer than anything I had ever seen before. The inscription shone piercingly bright, and yet remote, as if out of a great depth:

Well today is the first day back to work in a week . . . nothing excithing . it's still the Same Ole Shit . . . . I'll tell ya one thing when all the other drafters quit . I was doing pretty well keeping up with everything . . well they (they being uper management) decided I needed some "help" so they sent me one of the contract drafters from LPO (Low Production Orders) . well I thought O.k another body working on this should be a good thing . boy was I wrong . not only does it take him 5 times as long to draw something . but it usually takes him 3 tries to get it right . . example he spent 4 hours on something this morning . basicly it was a Line with Dots on it . that's it . bossman wanted to know what was taking so long on it . and he started stammering some stupid BS using a lot of Drafting terms . witch may fool the bossman . . . but not me . I told him how to fix it . how to do it . and then turned around and in two min had it done for him . . . it's freaking retarded that it takes him so damn long to do everything . And he resents me because i'm younger than he is . Like that make a damn bit of difference . actually it does . I'm more currently trained than he is . and I know more about computers than he does . And I've learned I know more about AutoCAD than he does . . . and to top it all off he's annoying . telling his lame ass jokes and laughing like Erkell . . . and they put him in my office so "I could help him" . . . I rather knock his ass unconsious and just do all the work myself . . . such is life

Ok I've been out for a while. But I have a good reason . . . for the past week I've been battling with pneumonia. It's ok I'm getting better now . . . . I did smoke Friday night and a couple Sat, but Sat at about 5:30 I smoked my last Cigarette and I haven't had one since. (Of coarse I have been sick, but that's beside the point). Not a whole lot has happened lately. I've pretty much been laid up in my room. I haven't been to work since last week, but I am going back Friday. My fever finally broke about two hours ago . I've still got a sore throat and a monster of a headache, but all in all I'm over it . well I just wanted to let all ya'll know that it has been 126.5 hours since my last cigarette . And I'm enjoying the hell out of it . I'm not even having nicotine fits anymore . . . I think I might have actually kicked the habit once and for all . . . .

On the 15th of this month I talked about something stupid I did . . . well I found that piece of paper and now I'm merely waiting for a reply . . . wish me luck . .

Well at 7:00 am yesterday . I quit smoking . and so far so good . . . ok so thats nearly a true statement . I'm going nuts right now . . . I can barely keep my hands still enough to type . I have never wanted a cigerette so bad in my life . . . . but i'm determind . . at least I was when I started . my resolve is waivering at the moment . . . . bot hopefully I can pull through this and finally put dow the cigerettes . . .

man I'm so flustered I can't even think of anything to type today . . . i'll keep ya'll posted on my progress as I go . . .till then

Hello All . . . well it's another boring day at work . . . I know what the problem is . I'm too damn good at my job . . . I work too fast and the uper up's can't keep me busy enough . . most of the time .

I may be really fast at work, but I have done something really stupid . About two weeks ago I went to a gaming convention (no that's not the stupid part) I actually had a real good time . I even met a nice girl there (here's where I become stupid) I asked her for her e-mail address so that I could write her . she happily gave it too me . well after I got home I can't find the piece of paper that I put her address down on and in my short-sightedness I didn't think to give her my e-mail . so that's that . . . .

Long time no Blog . . I have been running like a chicken with his head cut off lately, but I shall now take the time to bring you up to speed on the wonderful world of Stu..

First off. HAPPY FREAKIN' NEW YEAR. Just another year to screw up the stuff you didn't get to the previous year.

Well my Christmas and New Year have been . . .. Interesting . . .. I tell ya what happened

Christmas: I left work on Friday Dec 21 and headed up to my parents house. I stayed at my brothers house Friday night and left Saturday to pick up a friend of mine (Jim) from the airport . He didn't know I was coming to pick him up. He thought it would just be his wife, Ronda, who rode with me. Needless to say he was quite surprised, as we haven't seen or talked to each other in about 6 months . . . so I spent most of Sat night with Jim, Ronda, and their family. Then I went to my Parents' house and stayed there Sat night. Sunday I got up and ate breakfast with my family. (We do our Christmas on the weekend before due to the fact that there are about 15 of us and it gets a little difficult to get us all together in one place, even on the holidays.) Anyway. We sat around and opened all of our gifts. I got some new shirts and a few books that I wanted. I also got me a web cam. (I can already see myself getting in trouble with it)

I spent the rest of the time hanging out with my brother and a few of my friends. I didn’t get to see Fossie that weekend but it wasn’t from lack of trying. I went by their place twice but they weren’t home.

Well on Christmas Day I returned home. Jason (another friend of mine) had come in from the service of Uncle Sam and had asked if he could ride back with me. He has family near where I live and was going to be staying with them until he had to go back to Maryland, he ended up staying at my house most of the time, but that’s another story. Well after getting back and unloading the truck I spent the rest of the week board at work. Most everyone in my office had taking vacation so that they would be off the entire week, so there was only three of us in the entire office for the rest of the week. Needless to say it was very boring.

New Years weekend: Like I said before Jason had decided to stay over at my place until he had to go back to Maryland, and also my brother came down to spend the New Year with me. So on New Years Eve we hit one of the local clubs. We all had a lot of fun and Jason ended up picking up a friend. Now I didn’t care that he had picked up a friend, but before then he had been sleeping in the recliner, and I wasn’t about to give up my bed. So I told him he would just have to make due with and air mattress in the living room floor. He seemed to be fine with that.

The next day we all woke up real late and some of us a little hung over. We sat around and goofed off around the house watching movies and such until about 8:00pm then I helped my brother pack up his stuff and prepare for the 3-hour drive back home. After I saw him away Jason Asked if he and his new “friend” could stay one more night since he didn’t have to catch a bus until tomorrow. That was fine by me; I’m pretty easy going.
Well Jason had told me that his bus left out at 8:30pm so I woke him up at 6:00pm so that he and his “friend” could get ready. (and yes I actually had to wake him up. He spent the entire day asleep) he told me that he had called the bus station and that there was a bus leaving at 12:30 and that he would catch that one instead. Hey it makes no difference to me so I went back to my room and played around on my computer until about 9:00pm at which time I woke him up and made him get ready to go. Well after dropping his “friend” off Jason informed me that he had not actually bought his bus ticket yet and that he needed to be at the bus station 30min in advance to purchase a ticket. So we made our way to the Bus Station we got there at about 11:30. he then went to the counter to buy his bus ticket. Well guess what. It appears that he’ll have to wait as the bus he needs to get on my already be full. He’ll have to wait and see how many people get off of the bus to make sure there will be an empty seat. So I end up waiting there at the bus station with him until the bus gets there. It arrives at about 12:15 in the morning and enough people get off of the bus so Jason can buy a ticket. Crisis averted right? Wrong. It turns out that the bus won’t arrive in Jackson Ms (where Jason’s plane to Maryland takes off from) until 11:40. Jason’s flight is at 11:05. Do you see the problem? No Jackson is only about 7 hours from where we are, but the bus has a layover in Memphis so I looks like Jason is going to be SOL. So what is he gonna do. He can’t afford another plane ticket, and this Is the last bus leaving to Jackson until tomorrow afternoon. So here comes Stu to the rescuie. I tell him to “Sell back your ticket, grab your shit, and get in the damn truck” and I drive him the whole 7 hours to Jackson Ms. Now keep in mind I was supposed to go back to work that day. So I had to call in and let my boss know I couldn’t make it. We get to Jackson at about 7:00 and I take him to one of his friend’s house so she can take him to the airport. While there I catch me about a 2-hour nap and then drive back home another 7 hours. Arriving back at about 4:00pm. And at about an hour later I pass smooth out from exhaustion. I then get up and go to work the next day and explain to my boss all the details of what had happened. He thought it was funny. I didn’t, but at least he wasn’t mad about it.

And that should bring you up to speed on the life of Stu. It has been a very eventful year if not a very good one, but I see it getting better. Or at least I hope it gets better, I couldn’t take it getting very much worse…

OK . I finally have a chance to breathe (and grab a Mountain Dew in the process) . well . not much has really been happening lately . Nicks brother came into town last night (Nick is my roommate for those of you who don't know) . they are going to the Aerosmith concert tonight . more power to them . I'm thinking about going to a different concert tonight . I found out that Clandestine is coming to the Rock tonight . they are a Really good Celtic band . you should check out their site . esp. if you like Celtic Music... But I'm not sure if I'm gonna go yet . I may just sit at home and Veg out . I don't have to work tomorrow . (YEA) . I'm going to an SCA event tomorrow . It's Beinntheine's event . The Feast of Saturnalia . It's only a small one day event, but a lot of my good friends are gonna be there so I'm looking forward to it . . . well I can't think of anything else off the top of my head . so I guess I'll just get off here . It's almost time to go home anyway...
